Transportation in Jackson Hole

There are an array of options for transportation while staying in Jackson Hole. At Jackson Hole Airport, there are your common rental car agencies to choose from such as Hertz, Avis, Dollar, and National Car Rental. There are also uber and Lyft drivers for your occasional nightly outings but they are limited and often times are not available without a long wait time so I would not rely on those methods of transportation for your whole stay.

Multiple taxis are available to/from the airport as well as to/from town. They all are required to charge the same rate so there’s no need to shop for the best price. The last time we checked it was $70 each way. There are public transportation pickup spots available close by to our facilities (about 1/2 mile away). See the links below to check routes and times.

For winter skiing, there is an overflow parking lot for Jackson Hole Mountain about 1 mile from us called Stilson Parking Lot. It is very common for our guests to drive there in the morning and take the routine shuttle that drops you off directly in front of the lifts.

It operates all winter and is a reliable and easy method of transportation to and from the slopes. See the link below for pickup times.” If you do plan on having your own car, we highly recommend in the winter times to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. In the late spring, summer, and fall, there is no need for a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
